The U.S. Post Office has proposed raising the price to mail letters, postcards, magazines, newspapers, etc.
The cost to mail a standard letter is proposed, starting in January, to raise from $.44 to $.46, a 4.5% increase. This increase will cost Americans an additional $2.3 billion a year.
